CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

 Personally I think I would modify several things.  The curriculum is good in its entirety, but, I would like that in the second year we had subjects that deal more with chemistry and pharmacy, because it focuses a lot on the complex sciences but it leaves aside the introduction of more knowledge of the career itself, which demotivates and makes me question if this is really what I wanted.

For the same reason, I feel that the workload is a lot and it feels worse being in pandemic, there are subjects that require a lot of study, so you prioritize those, which can be prejudicial to the others.

I like the green areas of the faculty, but I feel that some spaces are missing at the entrance with more trees or seats, I only know some rooms and laboratories, I think it is necessary to renew the laboratory equipment. 

If you go to other faculties you will notice the big difference with ours....

As for technology, the faculty this year has only done virtual classes, some professors know how to use it effectively, others find it more difficult. 

The teaching methods I think are quite "normal", except for those who use graphic tablets for demonstrations or teach videos, but in general is to read a presentation and explain, which would be much better if it were in person, because online is very monotonous.

Time travel to the future

Honestly I would not like to travel to the future, but after thinking about it, if I had to, I would go to the year 2052. I probably already have an adult life with 52 years old, with many responsibilities and fulfilled dreams, but I would like to see what the world has become. 

First Chile, to see its technological advances in transportation and communication, its population (if it increased or decreased), new customs and ideologies, who lead the country and if the society has advanced living freely but respecting the other, but also to see if it managed to save and take care of its fauna and flora and all the beautiful things it still is today. 

I would like to see Chile as a country that puts at the service of the people innovative technologies for recycling and environmental care. Although there is technology and great constructions, what is most cared for are the green areas and public spaces.

I would probably also visit another Latin American country like Venezuela hoping to find a great developing country, a leader in South America and that only the older generations remember what happened before.

I would definitely not stay in the future because I like the way my life is now and I want to enjoy it to the fullest without missing anything.

My Future Job

Personally, I would like to work in a veterinary pharmaceutical laboratory. I imagine it as a very rigorous job, where you have to follow a step by step, and you have to be very professional; you have to know about chemical processes and how to use the laboratory equipment to create appropriate medicines.

You can say that it is an office job since you are inside a facility, but it is different, since it is not boring like sitting all day, it is more didactic and requires a lot of energy and concentration, depending on the area where you work in the laboratory.

I would love to travel for my work, to know laboratories in other countries, which have more technology and personnel. I would like to travel to Europe or Canada.

I am studying chemistry and pharmacy, because it is a very complete career, with a wide range of employment opportunities.

This profession would allow me to acquire a lot of professional experience, since I can work in pharmacies of health centers or community pharmacies, chemical or cosmetic industries, also in laboratories with different positions.

Also the other job I would like to have in the future is to have my own naturopathic pharmacy or a veterinary pharmacy. 

That'd be great!

Childhood Series

 To write about this I had to ask my mom a bit, since I didn't remember much about some of the series.

The series that live in my memory are "Barnie", "Clifford", "Zoboomafoo" and "Dora, La exploradora". These series were broadcasted by Discovery Kids and I loved them, were series with lots of interaction, bright colors, learning and all that , I could spend a lot of time watching them.

But  I also watched series from other television channels, such as "Shin-chan", "Ranma ½", "Doraemon" (ETC Channel), "Johnny bravo", "Mucha Lucha" and "La vaca y el pollito" (Cartoon Network). I laughed a lot with these series, because they were full of adventures and funny situations.

Now that I think about it, in my childhood I watched a lot of old anime, maybe that has influenced me to like anime series a lot nowadays. Although also in these times, I have enjoyed animations such as "Gravity falls" and "El increible mundo de Gumball". Personally I consider myself a fan of "Gravity falls", I love the suspense, the funny and mysterious situations; I feel that it is underrated, when it is really amazing.

My Pets

Talking about my pets is something I love. I have 4 cats and a dog, each of them were rescued or adopted.

Link is the first kitty we adopted, she is 5 years old, she can be suspicious at first but then she is very affectionate.

My dog is about the same age as Link, Leia is very energetic and friendly.

Cookie is the second cat I adopted, I named her that because she is like the chocolate in the cookies. She is special to me because she came into my life on a very sad day to brighten it up. Cookie is always hungry.

Then comes Garu, the smallest of my cats, he is almost one year old, he is very spoiled by my family, he is very naughty.

Lastly Kitty, she is a kitten that my mom rescued a short time ago, she is about 2 years old, she adapted quickly to our family, she is very sweet and affectionate, and always plays with Garu.

My pets are everything to me, they are happiness, without my pets my life would feel empty and sad.

The best concert ever

 On 2014's winter (30th april) I went to "Estadio Nacional" where One Direction had the first ever concert in Chile. 

One Direction (1D) was a famous pop british boyband formed in 2010, their debut was on the TV program "X-Factor". The members were Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Liam Payne. In spite of not winning the show, the stayed together as a band and release their first single: "What makes you beautiful" on September 2011. Sadly, Zayn Malik on 2015 leaves the band, making One Direction to continue whitout  one member, and on 2016 announces an undefined hiatus which remains today. However, the members decided to emerge up as solists. 

The atmosphere during the show was exciting, and I felt so happy because I waited it for a long time and that was my favourite band at that moment. I went with my old friend and both we wore the same shirt of the band. I would live this one more time but with another band.

A country you would like to visit

 If I had the opportunity to travel around the world, one of the countries would be China, because there are beautiful landscapes, preserves its wildlife like pandas and the interesting traditional food.

China is well-known as a place with a large fauna diversity. The biggest animal sanctuary of  endangered animals is located in the Chengdu region; among many others, where specialists take care of the living and healthiness of the species. This region and others in this country are known for their spicy gastronomy and traditional meals, such as Kung Pao and Jiaozi, 

When I'm there I would like to going on a tour of the places with the most vegetation and fauna like Suzhou and Chengdu and also I would visit the capital Beijing. I would take lots of photos and go to many local restaurants.

Personally I would't live there, because it's a country with overpopulation problem regardless I would volunteer in a animal sanctuary, to bring happiness to my life.💚
